Description
The Deuter Rogla 5 is a compact, vest-style cycling pack, designed for long rides, gravel, road, light MTB or minimalist bikepacking. With its 5-liter capacity and compatibility with a hydration bladder up to 2 liters, it lets you carry hydration, nutrition, tools and a light jacket without multiplying carry options.
Fit and carry system
The Rogla 5 uses a close-to-body cut with wide shoulder straps and a Lite back system. The chest straps and side adjustment let you tune the pack to the load and limit movement while riding.

Hydration and storage
The main compartment accepts a hydration bladder up to 2 liters. The hose routes over the top of the pack, then down the shoulder strap. Pockets on the shoulder straps keep your smartphone, bars, gels or small accessories accessible while riding.

Construction
The Rogla 5 is made without PFAS, with bluesign and Grüner Knopf certification. The main material 120D PA HT REC R/S combines polyamide and recycled materials, with a focus on balancing light weight and durability.
Our take
The Deuter Rogla 5 stands out mainly for its stability and organization. It is not ultralight and is less ventilated than a no-pack setup, but it offers a very practical alternative to apparel with an integrated hydration bladder for long gravel rides, versatile use and light bikepacking.
