The CyclOptim Pack Combo Classic bundles a pair of sensor-equipped pedal spindles with four interchangeable pedal bodies: one MACADAM road pair and one MASSIF pair for MTB, gravel or cyclocross.

This pack is built for riders who switch between disciplines and want to keep the same power measurement system without needing multiple meters. The spindles house the measurement technology directly in the pedal and let you swap from a road body to an SPD body.

The system is aimed mainly at riders who split their time between road and gravel, or those who regularly change their setup by season, terrain or shoe choice.

At the time of testing, the proprietary CyclOptim app wasn’t yet available and Bluetooth compatibility was slated for a future update. Calibration is therefore carried out via a compatible GPS head unit.

The Pack Combo Classic proved convincing thanks to the simplicity of swapping bodies, the quality of engagement in both SPD and road modes, and the consistency of the data observed during the test. The software ecosystem still needs fleshing out, but the modular concept brings real practical value.
