The Galfer Fixed Disc Wave Center-Lock rotors are one-piece discs for builds using the Center-Lock standard. Their signature Wave profile gives them a distinctive look while keeping the construction simple – no floating elements.

The version tested weighed around 98 g per rotor, making it lighter than several common 160 mm options, such as the SRAM CenterLine X Center-Lock or Shimano Dura-Ace RT-CL900. The observed price is around 45 € per rotor.

The supplied external lockring may require a tool different from a standard cassette lockring tool, so check your toolkit before installation.

As with any rotor change, proper bedding in is required. If you are keeping your existing pads, a light surface sanding and a thorough clean will put you on a sound baseline.

In our test, these rotors eliminated a front-brake vibration on a setup with very stiff carbon wheels and semi-floating rotors. Braking also gained bite with organic pads. However, note that one rotor arrived warped for the test, and noise becomes pronounced in the rain.
