The Scott Addict Gravel is a carbon gravel bike built around comfort, stability and versatility. This latest generation carries over the Addict family’s clean aesthetic, with a frame engineered to accept big tyres while keeping the lines impressively tidy.
The frame comes in two carbon grades: HMX, at a claimed 794 g, and HMF, at a claimed 990 g. Tyre clearance is up to 2.2 inches, or 57 mm, with a design aimed at rougher gravel and long rides.
The bike integrates several Syncros solutions: a storage hatch for an inner tube, mini-pump and tyre levers; a multi-tool in the handlebar; a tubeless repair kit; a seatpost compatible with a magnetic rear light; and specific bolt-on frame bags.
The fork mounts are positioned on the inside of the legs to preserve the aesthetics and improve weight distribution. They’re rated for a maximum load of 2 kg and require the dedicated Syncros mounts.
These weights are quoted for a tubeless setup and exclude the Save the Day Kit.
Out on the trails, the Addict Gravel stands out for its comfort, stability and a very well-executed cockpit. It inspires confidence and invites you to venture onto rougher terrain. Its main limitation is responsiveness: it smooths out a lot, but feels less lively in the sprints than a race-focused gravel bike.
