Basso
Basso is an Italian brand offering a fairly comprehensive range of gravel bikes. Find carbon models as well as aluminium, and even with electric assist. Basso Palta gravel: speed in its purest form The Basso Palta is a gravel bike built for speed. It will appeal to anyone who wants to perform with their bike on beautiful, fast white roads. The Palta’s geometry makes this gravel bike versatile, notably with a pronounced top-tube slope. The head tube leaves little room for spacers to maximise an aerodynamic position. Full internal routing thanks to a clever stem – spacers – headset assembly. Three base models are offered with Shimano GRX 600, SRAM Rival eTap AXS or Campagnolo Ekar builds. Electric gravel with the Basso Volta The Italian firm also offers a magnificent gravel bike in an electric version. With its Polini motor, the Volta takes up the Palta’s geometry and almost all of its characteristics. In Matador red, the Basso Volta gravel is simply gorgeous. Only the groupset offered is a bit modest given the bike’s price (€5,899). Basso has, in fact, chosen to bet on an excellent motor and a high-end frame. Basso Tera gravel: the adventurer! With its semi-rigid suspension, the Basso Tera gravel is very clearly aimed at off-road use. Its aluminium frame and carbon fork make this Tera nimble and responsive. Internal routing, beautiful welds, and tyre width up to 45 mm make this Tera endearing and unique. It too comes in three versions and two colours.
