The Abus GameChanger 2.0 is an aerodynamic road helmet aimed at riders who want a performance-focused model with premium construction and a tidy finish. Made in Italy, it uses a sculpted profile to cut drag while retaining an internal ventilation system.

The Pure White version tested has a glossy, bright finish, with an In-Mold shell combining polycarbonate and EPS. It features Acti Cage, Aero Blade and AirBoost technologies, plus an internal airflow system designed to channel ventilation through the shell.

The stitched Flow Straps Pro help the helmet sit aerodynamically and reduce flapping, but there’s no ear-level adjustment. Fit therefore depends more on the rider’s head shape.

After several months of use, the GameChanger 2.0 comes across as a very compelling aero helmet: comfortable, stable and better ventilated than its silhouette suggests. The limitations mainly stem from a few equipment details, such as the absence of a magnetic buckle on the non-MIPS version tested, the minimalist in-box contents, and grey straps that require regular cleaning.
