The Nank Runner Diver2 Pro are bone-conduction headphones purpose-built for sport, with an open-ear design, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, 32 GB of onboard storage and an IP69 rating. They target cyclists, runners and swimmers who want to listen to music without sealing their ears with traditional in-ears.
The headphones use transducers that transmit sound through vibration while leaving your ears unobstructed. On the bike, this preserves a more natural awareness of your surroundings than noise-isolating earbuds.
At a claimed 31 g, the Runner Diver2 Pro all but disappear once in place. In open-ear use, comfort proved convincing on long rides. The quoted 10-hour battery life needs a caveat: during testing, with the volume at maximum over Bluetooth, the average measured battery life was 7 hours 50 minutes.
The Nank Runner Diver2 Pro are an interesting option to accompany certain rides with music, podcasts or voice navigation. Their main strength lies in the balance of comfort, stability and situational awareness. Calls are barely usable on the bike once the wind picks up, and using them on public roads in France should be approached with caution given the current regulations.
