Ridley
Ridley’s story dates back to its founding in 1997 in Belgium, and since then the company has become the country’s largest bicycle manufacturer. Ridley quickly distinguished itself for innovation, notably introducing the tapered headset in 2001 with the Ridley Damocles – an innovation that later became an industry standard. Ridley’s philosophy is that function comes before aesthetics, meaning every frame component must bring real performance value. That does not prevent the company from considering aesthetics, as long as design choices do not hinder performance. Ridley designs models for all areas of cycling, including gravel.
