After more than twenty years and several generations, the Noah (Ridley’s iconic model) is entering a new era. The Belgian brand presents the E-Noah, its very first aero electric assist road bike. The goal is clear: keep the Noah’s performance DNA while making riding more accessible, especially on hilly routes or on long rides.

The E-Noah builds on the Noah Fast, the latest evolution of Ridley’s aero race bike, and integrates a discreet drive system developed by TQ. The positioning is firmly performance road focused, with no visual break from an unassisted bike.
Ridley opted for the TQ HPR40 motor, a compact system designed for lightweight road bikes. The motor weighs 1.2 kg, paired with a 1.42 kg battery integrated into the down tube. Together they keep the bike’s total weight under 11 kg, a notable figure in the world of electric road bikes.
The motor is positioned behind the crankset, completely invisible to the naked eye. The battery is integrated into the aero down tube, with no apparent change to the frame’s lines. According to Ridley, the Noah’s aerodynamics are preserved, a central point of the project.
The E-Noah does not feature a traditional display. Information is shown via LEDs integrated into the bar-end cap, while the control buttons are hidden beneath the bar tape. The choice is intentional: preserve aesthetics and limit any visual distraction.
The motor delivers up to 40 Nm of torque and 200 W of additional power. The assistance is designed to be progressive and natural, with a sensation akin to a constant light tailwind. Assistance levels can be adjusted via the TQ app.
The 292 Wh battery can be complemented by an optional 160 Wh range extender to extend range on long rides or more demanding routes.
While the E-Noah retains the Noah’s racing DNA, its geometry has been slightly adjusted. The position is said to be a bit more comfortable, with more forgiving handling, while remaining performance oriented.
The goal is to let a wider audience enjoy an aero road bike: riders who want to go longer, string together rides, or tackle climbs without giving up the sensations of a race bike.
The E-Noah is offered from XS to L, with size-specific geometry across the range. Ridley opts for a constant chainstay length and optimized angles to maintain stability and responsiveness, even with electric assistance.
The Ridley E-Noah starts at €7,099 with a Shimano 105 Di2 build. A Shimano Ultegra Di2 version is also available, listed at €9,099.
The model is configurable via Ridley’s online configurator, allowing you to adjust certain components according to your preferences.
With the E-Noah, Ridley is aligning with a wider trend: lightweight, discreet, performance-oriented electric road bikes, far from the earlier generations that were bulkier and visually conspicuous. The choice of the TQ HPR40 system confirms this desire for restraint and continuity with an unassisted bike.
On paper, the E-Noah targets a very specific audience: riders already attuned to aero performance, but looking to smooth out the effort, extend their rides, or keep enjoyment high despite physical or terrain constraints.
