Cinelli unveils the Aeroscoop, a new aero road bike built for outright speed. The Milanese brand leans on more than 75 years of know-how and extensive wind-tunnel development to deliver a frameset that can go toe-to-toe with the benchmarks in the aero race category.
The brief is clear: reduce drag, boost high-speed stability, and deliver precise handling for racers and riders chasing measurable gains.

Cinelli reports a 4% reduction in frontal area compared with the Pressure 2, along with extensive work on airflow management around the frame. The package was validated in the wind tunnel using the German magazine TOUR’s standardised protocol: static mannequin, ±20° rotation, measurements at 45 km/h, and weighted CdA.
Result: 205 W at 45 km/h, a figure that places the Aeroscoop among the top 10 most efficient bikes ever tested under these parameters – ahead of the Specialized Tarmac SL8, for example.
The seatstays split into two arms with a central channel, a principle inspired by aeronautics that guides airflow and cuts turbulence at the rear of the bike.
Cinelli has also reworked every frame transition to optimise airflow. The down tube and seat tube use a truncated profile that blends stiffness with lower drag, while the head tube now flows more cleanly into the cockpit to avoid abrupt transitions.
The fork, also redesigned, nests more harmoniously into the front triangle to curb drag in this particularly exposed zone.
Finally, the down tube sits slightly lower, reducing the gap to the front wheel and helping to shield the bottles by minimising turbulence around them.
The Aeroscoop clearly sits among premium aero bikes, up against market heavyweights such as the Cervélo S5, Ridley Noah Fast, Canyon Aeroad, and Trek Madone.
The 205 W at 45 km/h figure looks credible given the test protocol – a solid argument in a segment where numbers genuinely matter.
That said, this is a bike skewed toward pure performance: no mechanical drivetrain option and a relatively demanding geometry.
Conversely, the integration work, the tube shaping, the Italian finish, and the ability to buy the frameset alone will appeal to riders who like exclusive machines.
A model clearly aimed at racers, PR hunters, or anyone who wants an aero bike with a strong identity.
