Césane E. is an editor and product designer at Gravel Passion. She brings a distinctive perspective to the media, at the intersection of cycling and design, analysing bike equipment through the lens of ergonomics, user experience and product innovation.
Trained in product design and innovation, notably at the École nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, she has developed expertise in user-centred design (UX design) and usage analysis. This approach allows her to assess bikes, accessories and equipment with particular attention to the details that truly shape the rider’s experience: comfort, position, product interface, materials, and design logic.
Alongside her editorial work, Césane is also the founder of SOLVY.BIKE, a project dedicated to innovation and experience in the cycling world. She also works as an expert in design thinking and prototyping with students and organisations.
At Gravel Passion, she primarily writes gear reviews, technical analysis, and content around bike fitting, ergonomics and product design in cycling.
Her articles aim to offer a perspective that is both critical, technical and accessible, helping cyclists better understand the design choices behind the products they use every day.
